El Misterio del SS Ourang Medan

The SS Ourang Medan was a Dutch cargo ship that sent out a distress signal , to which two boats near the given location , and one of these , the Silver Star was the one who came up to observe and verify what was happening , then, the surprise was to see one of the strangest situations ever known.
The first mention of the SS Ourang Medan and his entire crew was killed suddenly in a newspaper published by the United States Coast Guard . Apparently , the ship sent a distress call that went something like this :
" All officers including captain are dead lying in the control room . Possibly the entire crew is dead. "This message was followed by indecipherable Morse code then ," I'm dying "
The help came just as you can imagine after a few hours . Silver Star 's crew mounted an inspection group , heading the boat because after sending a greeting sign , got no response , so he proceeded to perform the action . to get to the boat , were met with surprise that everything that transmission was saying was true , all crew members were killed, with the appearance of having seen something, I leave you with your eyes wide open, as if looking to the sun and outstretched arms , the remains of the captain were found at the place where the transmission said: the command headquarters . Dog of the crew also found it dead, had the impression of having died barking at someone.
There are several theories as to how all the men died - ranging from inhaling carbon monoxide to some kind of nefarious UFO intervention . In the end, no one really knows what happened .
You know what no one else knows? If Medan specifically Ourang never existed or not. As already mentioned , the first mention of Medan was in a publication disseminated by the U.S. the Naval Prefecture . One would think that the sources of meaning were well documented . But perhaps this is not the case.

he theory is , which is more likely to happen, but would not explain why there is no record of Medan Ourang or accident, is carbon monoxide poisoning . This theory says that a detected fire without flame or a malfunction in the boiler system of the ship caused the sinking of the ship. The carbon monoxide leak that caused the death of all aboard, the fire would have slowly grown out of control , and the ship would have flown .
The center of all other theories about the paranormal . Aliens , ghosts, are all suspects, all have ways to explain the deaths and the expressions on the faces of the crew. These theories are exacerbated by the explosion of the ship. As long as we have no evidence to prove the existence of the ship, shipwreck, or even who was in the boat, we will never know . The only limit is our imagination theories and what we are willing to believe.
The macabre distress call was picked up by numerous ships and Dutch and British positions hears , through triangulation , identified the vessel as the Dutch freighter SS Ourang Medan to find its approximate location on the Strait of Malacca.
Within hours , La Estrella de Plata ( Silver Star ) came to a silent show. The calm sea gently lapped stationary hull, Medan Ourang and crew were nowhere to be seen above the covers. The U.S. praised the Dutch boat with boat whistles , calls and hand signals , but no answer . Nothing strange aboard the ship moved . A boarding team was assembled quickly and what they found was a frightening sight that has made the Medan Ourang one nautical most bizarre and disturbing mysteries of all time, eclipsing even the Marie Celeste in macabre detail , if not in infamy .
The emergency message right , all the members of the crew lay dead Ourang Medan . bodies of the crew were scattered on the decks. The captain dead set on the bridge, official in the wheelhouse , chart room and wardroom all deceased. More than this, his eyes were open , faces turned up toward the pitiless sun , some with arms outstretched and expressions of horror on their characteristics. In May 1952, the report of the work of the Merchant Marine Council said: " frozen faces were turned toward the sun , their mouths were open open and eyes looking ... " The game silver star boarding noted that the dog even the ship was dead, his face locked in a tortured grimace that reflects " their masters . A trip to the communications room revealed the author of the SOS messages , also dead, his hand still on the Morse sending key , eyes wide open and teeth showing . Strangely, there was no sign of wounds or injuries in any of the bodies.
The decision to tow the ship back to port mysterious was taken, but before they could get underway, smoke began emanating under cover, probably originating in number 4 hold. The boarding party turned abruptly to the Silver Star and barely had time to cut the tow lines before the SS Ourang Medan exploded with such force that she " rose from the water and quickly sank ."
To this day , the exact fate of Medan Ourang and his team remain an impenetrable mystery. Speculation has been made that pirates killed the crew and sabotaged the ship, although this does not explain the lack of distinctive faces and injuries on the bodies . Others have claimed that clouds of methane and other natural gases could have harmful gushing from cracks in the sea floor and engulfed the ship. Even the involvement of aliens and ghosts more fantastic theories abound. There is skepticism about the veracity of the whole story , suggesting perhaps that the ship may not have actually existed, but the truth is that while the history of Medan Ourang is not the best known , refuses to go away .
What really happened to the SS Ourang Medan ? In recent decades historians have tried to sailors to discover the truth about the fate of the ship bewilderment . Among them , research stands Roy Bainton . He writes :
" Looking at the records of Dutch ships in Amsterdam seemed only to deepen the mystery. There was no mention of the ship at all , and my inquiries to the Maritime Authority of Singapore went blank .

As with many of these mysteries, it is unlikely that the truth will be discovered and at least for now, the Medan Ourang remains a dark story to tell on stormy nights
